I bought a Keurig a couple of months ago and I didn’t love it so I stashed it in my pantry– very not minimalist of me. I should have just donated it.
I’ve been rearranging my sleep schedule lately. I’m waking up earlier to just… be awake. It’s been mostly refreshing, a little dull at times.
This morning I wanted coffee, but I haven’t been making coffee at home so I didn’t have any for my press. Begrudgingly I pulled the Keurig out, but still could not make any coffee because I somehow misplaced the water reservoir. Moving on– sour and not caffeinated I decided to continue with my morning, sunny side up. Smiling in the face of espresso emptiness.
I prepared to get my sweat-sesh out of the way because the best way to start the day is always to move your body whether it be cardio, or weight-training, or sex. Just get that heart rate up and the body activated.
I COULDN’T GET THE TELEVISION TO CONNECT WITH THE FUCKING REMOTE AND BECAUSE IT IS A SMART TV I DON’T THINK IT HAS BUTTONS NO I HAVE NOT VERIFIED THIS.
Anyway. I stepped outside, onto the patio. It’s screened in and the floor is made of concrete.
This is the good thing.
The freezing cold blueish concrete, grounded me. I felt the breeze, I watched the light play inside of the gray spaces of the screen. I was there.
That’s all that really matters.
